5D's Movies

I heard there was a yugioh 5D movie where yusei and jack used the assault mode cards.

Is it true? And if yes was it subbed?

Well, it isn't a movie, but an OVA. It was given as a bonus with the OCG Duelist Toolbox to promote the new cards in Crimson Crisis. And yes, it was subbed, but not by Shin-paku.

Of 5d's, yes. The original series has an epilogue, usually referred to as Season 0, which centers about Yami Yugi Playing Shadow Games (almost no Duel Monsters). This has a film as well, to introduce Duel Monsters into Yu-Gi-Oh! as a vast concept. And of course you have Hikari No Piramid (Piramid of Light), which is hard to find in Japanese, so if anybody wants it, gimme a call and I'll upload it

There was also going to be a movie with Judai and Yugi battling each other (Yugi turned evil because of the main antagonist, who was going to be called sartorius, but Takahashi turned down the idea of 2 'heroes' battling each other.

tl;dr: if you want piramid of light in japanese, tell me.

Hmmm, i wonder what 4kids censored in the pyramid of light.

Nothing much, but the dialogue is completely different, and 13 minutes longer. But they didn't censor anything important.

The English version of the movie was completely edited when it first appeared in theaters in the US, but the Japanese language version (released in Special Screenings and later released in theaters in Japan) differs in content, uncut, and is complete with cards in Japanese. The Japanese version is in 101 minutes and the English version is originally in 90 minutes. Many scenes in the English version were omitted, switched, and some were altered.

But on that note, there is a 5D's movie. It's that 40-minute 10th anniversary movie titled "Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Super Fusion! Bonds that Transcend Time"

It should've been released on DVD by now. Any chance of finding a raw for it, and then subbing it? Not sure if anyone bothered to upload the raw for it, I heard it wasn't great; despite the fact that all three main characters from the three shows are in it.

Of course somebody would bother -_- what kind of question is that It's just that it isn't released yet. And wikipedia is WRONG.

i hear that the DVD of 5D's movie has been released in Japan, is that true?

Maybe :
1. 4kids don't allow the studio that made the movie
to release the DVD.
2. the movie wasn't that good so they didn't bother
to release the DVD.
(But I have checked at wikipedia, this movie entered
Japanese Box Office, I guess the movie wasn't bad)
3. they planned to prolong the movie

So if the worst case happened (the japanese DVD
NEVER released)
we can only watch 4kids dubbed version of the movie
rather than not watching at all.
The dubbed version will be released at February 26, 2011

Oh damn that 4kids for making us to watch not the original version of the movie again
I just like to watch everything in its original voice bcoz of the feeling

Damn u 4Kids T_T I was very happy when i heard it was released. but now hops are falling apart.

It isn't 4kids who's blocking the release >.< They haven't anything to say with it. Japan just wants to rerelease it in cinemas in february, so they wait to have the dvd released.
